To be SOLD by AUCTION, by Mr. FULLER, on Monday the 15th of June next and following days, at eleven o'clock each day, on the premises —
THE PATENT LEAD WORKS, Ranelagh-road, Thames-bank, Pimlico, by direction of the Proprietors, valuable PLANT, MACHINERY, and IMPLEMENTS, constructed of the best material, under the superintendence of an eminent engineer, at the cost of FORTY THOUSAND POUNDS, the principal portion of which has been fitted up within the last twelve months, and comprise highly finished specimens of Steam Machinery on the most approved principle, in so perfect a state as to be adapted to any manufacturing purpose on other premises at a trifling cost, including a High-pressure Horizontal bright STEAM ENGINE OF TWO HUNDRED AND NINETY-HORSE POWER, fixed with polished marble, three cylindrical Steam Boilers of one hundred and fifty-horse power each, with all the gearing complete, eighteen cast iron Spur Wheels, each nine feet diameter, trimmed and fitted with shafts, carriages, &c. six sets of six each sexagon[?] Lead Cylinders, in cast iron frames, fitted with shafts and carriages, powerful ENGINE TURNING LATHE, TWENTY-SEVEN FEET LONG, FOUR SELF-ACTING ENGINE TURNING LATHES, from 9 to 15 feet long, nine Engine Turning Lathes of various dimensions, TWO SELF-ACTING ENGINE PLANING MACHINES, two Screw-cutting Engines, two Drilling Machines, all the requisite spur, pinion, rigger, drum, and fly-wheels to drive the various machines, sets of valuable stocks, taps, dies, and steel tools, A DOUBLE-ACTION BLOWING ENGINE OF FIVE-HORSE POWER, Hydraulic Press of 600 tons pressure, 100 pair of plummer blocks and brasses, fitted, from two inches to ten inches, 100 spur, bevel, and fly-wheels, from one foot to eight feet diameter, 150 rods new brick-work, cast iron columns, from 12 to 20 feet high, five sets of powerful sheave blocks and falls, 30 tons of various machinery, 20 tons of new bolt irons, 50 tons of cast iron, five tons of smiths' tools, anvils, vices, bellows, work benches, &c. weighing machines and weights, 20 pair of chain slings, large assortment of wood patterns, powerful Punching Press, 40 bags of nails, AN EIGHT-OARED CUTTER, rigged, and numerous other valuable effects.
