Incorporated as the Bank of Tarapaca and London, Ltd., 1888. In 1900 the Anglo-Argentine Bank, Ltd., was absorbed, and the name was then changed to the Bank of Tarapaca and Argentina, Ltd. In January, 1907, the present style was adopted. In 1913 absorbed the London Bank of Mexico and South America, Ltd. Branches and Agencies throughout America and Europe.
