1986 Williams Holdings sold 21 subsidiaries to Haleworth, a newly formed company[1]

Chairman was Philip Ling.

1987 Acquired 29 percent of P. and W. MacLellan[2]

1987 Acquired by Philip Ling to form part of the new Haden MacLellan Holdings

During the year, Bowers and Jones Ltd, Bradford Metal Works Ltd and Petrie Technologies Ltd had been transferred to another subsidiary of Haden MacLellan Holdings
