1935 Acquired Rayonese, company name changed to Balstone Cooke and Rayonese.[1]
1946 Acquired Barraclough, Milner and Co.[1]
1947 Acquired Thomas Mellodew and Co.[2]
1953 Made woollen Axminster carpets at Oldham[3]
1955 Announced the closure of the Parkfield and Moorside Mills owned by its subsidiary Thomas Mellodew and Co.[4]
1959 Acquired by Vantona Textiles[5]
