1915 August. 'The H.D.C. Motor Company.— Occupying important premises in the Broadway, West Hendon, one of the London arteries, the H.D.C. Motor Company cater for everything in the motor world. They have extensive workshops and here repairs of all kinds can be expeditiously carried out, and accessories readily obtained. This is the day the cycle-car; and while the firm are in a position supply motors of all types and sizes, a feature is made of the Crompton cycle-car, of which there are two models, one priced at £85 and the other at £95. A booklet containing the full specification will be forwarded on application. The Company guarantee to replace, free charge, any parts that may become broken, due to defective materials, this guarantee extending for one year from the date of purchase.'[1]
