Rupert Jeffkins (1881-1954)

born 20 Oct 1881 East Maitland, NSW and died 18 Oct 1954 Liverpool, NSW.

Rupert Jeffkins was a true pioneer who raced cars in the U.S.A in the early 1900's. Jeffkins famously just fell short of wining the second Indianapolis 500 in 1912 after leading for 195 of the 200 laps.
