1935 Incorporated as a private company, The Imperial Hotel (Helensburgh) Limited, with capital of £10,000. The subscribers were David Blanche, distiller, Heathfield, Greenock and Andrew Inglis, hotel-keeper, of the Imperial Hotel, Helensburgh.[1]
