1937 Alexanders of Edinburgh Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £50,000 to acquire and carry on the business of Henry Alexander and Co, automobile engineers and body builders, motor traders and motor agents, Edinburgh and also the similar business carried on under the name of Alexander and Co at 240 Great Western Road, Glasgow.[1]

2002 The company was dissolved[2]
