1894 The firm of R. Greenlees & Company, wholesale and manufacturing ironmongers, East Howard Street, Glasgow was dissolved as at 31st December 1893 by the retiral of the subscribers Gavin Greenlees and Joseph Alexander Thomson, the business to be continued under the same name by Robert Greenlees.[1]

1911 R. Greenlees and Company Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £10,000, to take over the business of R. Greenlees and Co, wholesale ironmongers and hardware merchants[2]

1970 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[3]
