1921 Duncan MacIver Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £20,000, to take over the business of fishcurer, coal merchant, and steam drifter owner, carried on by Duncan MacIver at Stornoway.[1]

1992 The company, by now known as Classpraise Limited, went into liquidation.[2]
