1999 Du Pont acquired Herberts, the coatings subsidiary of Hoechst AG; the company's activities were integrated with those of Du Pont; the Dagenham factory was closed[3]
2000 The assets and business were transferred to another group company Du Pont Performance Coatings (UK) Ltd[4]
