1870 Sale Notice: 'To Shippers, Packers, and Others. To Be Sold by Auction, by Mr. EDWARD HILL, at the Royal Hotel, Dale-street, Liverpool, Monday, the 7th day of November, 1870, at Four o’clock in the Afternoon, all that the BALE PRESSING and WORKING PLANT of the late Mr. Henry Fuessli, lately carried on by him for the last two years at No. 4, Jackson's Lane, Union-street, Liverpool, together with the Lease of the Warehouse and Premises, in Jackson’s Lane aforesaid. The Working Plant consists of one Ashcroft Compound Baling Press, with double boxes, steam boiler and feeding engine, complete, made by Messrs. Routledge and Ommanney, of Manchester; one Hydraulic Press, with six throw pumps, fittings, &c , and one string oak Cotton Box, complete, made by Routledge and Ommanney; 30-cwt. and 10-cwt. Weighing Machines, Benches, Tools, Tables, Skips, Offices, Partitions, Cupboards, Office Fixtures. Fireproof Safe, &c. The whole may be viewed on Saturday, November 5th, and day of Sale, from Ten to One o’clock, by applying to Mr. Hencock, on the premises.
