M. Solacroup (c1821-1880), managing director of the Orleans Railway

1880 Obituary [1]

The death is announced, at the age of 59 years, of M. Solacroup, an engineer rather actively engaged in his younger days in the work of French railway construction.

Latterly M. Solacroup had been managing director of the Orleans Railway Company. The responsibilities of this onerous post contributed very possibly to his comparatively early decease.
