WE have with deep regret to place on record the untimely death of the chief engineer of the Champ de-Mars Exhibition, M. de Dion, who after elaborating the whole of the iron construction of the building, and earning for himself a lasting reputation by the boldness and originality he had thrown into this work, was not permitted to see its completion.....
