James Edwards Wilson (1826-1898)

1858 Married (1). James Edwards Wilson, Esq., District Engineer, East Indian Railway, Soorool, to Elizabeth Jane, widow of the late Captain Henry Neville.[1] nee Baker. Had five sons and four daughters.

1865 James Edwards Wilson, Engineer, Indian Branch Railway, Westminster Buildings, Westminster.[2]

1865 Patent. James Edwards Wilson, of Grasmere, Civil engineer, for improvements in locomotive engines arid in springs of railway carriages.[3]

1868 Engineer-in-Chief on the Oudh and Rohilkhand Railway.[4]

1875 Lived with his common-law wife Ellen Elizabeth Ellis and she had three sons and three daughters

1882 Divorce from first wife for adultery and violence towards her

1903 Death of Elisabeth Jane, widow of James Edwards Wilson, aged 73 years at 1. Longton-grove. Sydenham.[5]
