Hugh Blaine (c1880-1936) of the Crediton Motor Works

1936 Died. 'The news of the death on Sunday of Mr. Hugh Blame, of Curfew Cottage, Churchstreet, Crediton, was heard with much regret. Mr. Blame, who was about 56, had been an invalid for a few years. He came to Crediton from Birmingham about 17 years ago and joined Mr. H. J. Cornish in the Crediton Motor Works. His wife predeceased him several years ago. He leaves a son, Mr. H. Blame, to whom sympathy is extended.'[1]
