1787 December 07th. Born the son of Thomas Crewdson and his wife Cicely

1828 Married (2) at Norwich to Anna Wright

c1835 Birth of son Theodore Crewdson

1841 Living at Ardwick, Manchester: Joseph Crewdson (age 57), Cotton Manufacturer; Ann Crewdson (age 48); Robert Crewdson (age 22), Cotton Manufacturer; Elizabeth Crewdson (age 20); Isaac Crewdson (age 19); Rachel Crewdson (age 17); Joseph Crewdson (age 16); John Henry Crewdson (age 11); Anna Mary Crewdson (age 9); Alfred Crewdson (age 7).[1]

1844 Died. On Sunday last, at his house, Ardwick-green, near Manchester, Joseph Crewdson, Esq. principal partner in the Decca Cotton Co.[2]

With children stepson Joseph Crewdson (age 26 born Ardwick), Annuitant; daughter Anna Mary Crewdson (age 19 born Ardwick); son Alfred Crewdson (age 17 born Ardwick), Cotton Warehouse; Theodore Crewdson (age 16 born Ardwick), Scholar.[3]
