Charles Hammerton (c1825-1903) of Hammerton and Lambert and later C. Hammerton and Co

Born at Coventry the son of Stephen Hammerton, a Button Manufacturer.

1852 Married (1) at Coventry to Rosa Ann Caldicott

1861 Shown as a Farmer in Princethorpe, Warwickshire.[1]

1871 Living at Stockwell Brewery, Lambeth: Charles Hammerton (age 44 born Coventry), Brewer employing 35 men. With wife Rosa and six daughters.[2]

1883 Married (2) at Wimbledon to Amy Henrietta Evans

1891 Living at 16 Stockwell Green, Lambeth: Charles Hammerton (age 65 born Coventry), Brewer, Widower and Employer. With two daughters.[3]

1903 October 29th. Died, of Stockwell Green and of Goldings, Horsham, age 78. Left widow and six daughters.[4]
