1854 Timothy Greening withdrew from the firm N. Greening and Sons to carry out wire-drawing in Froghall-lane, Warrington, taking the name of Messrs. Timothy Greening and Co. Mr. Robert Cook was his partner

1857 Timothy Greening left Mr. Cook, who took in partnership Mr. Josiah Williams. The firm became Messrs. Cook, Williams and Co.
