Whisky distillers, Milngavie

1837 Alexander Graham is recorded as farmer and distiller.[1] He remained the proprietor in 1861.[2]

1878 By now Alexander Buchanan was the proprietor of the distillery.[3] But he was sequestrated in 1884.[4] David Chrystal was the proprietor at the time of Alfred Barnard's visit. Barnard noted the distillery's output to be 48,000 gallons for 1885.[5]

1903 The distillery was now listed as being operated by McNab & Co.[6]

1905 A fire took place, completely destroying the bond store and causing damage estimated at £15,000.[7]
