William James Charles Jeal (1898-1918) of the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve on the SS Renfrew

Able Seaman. Service Number: Bristol/Z/1597

1898 March 02nd. Born at Reigate the son of William James Jeal and his wife Caroline Harris.

1916 June 11th. Enlisted.

1918 February 24th. Died at sea when ship torpedoed.

Parents lived at Newquay, Cornwall.

Commemorated. War Memorial, Exwick and on the Plymouth Naval Memorial
