c.1812 Born in Manchester[1] son of William and Ann Halliday

1838 Married Jane Heape in Hulme. 'At St George's Church, Hulme, Mr. Andrew Paton Halliday, of Cornbrook, to Jane, eldest daughter of the late Mr. George Gretton Heap, of this town.'[2]

1849 Formation of partnership as A. P. Halliday and Co

1852 of A. P. Halliday and Co[3]

1853 Died in Salford[4] 'On the 22d inst., aged 41 years, Andrew Paton Halliday, Esq., of Batik-place, Salford'[5]
