1825 This was the date of establishment used by the company in its advertising.

1957 John Poynter, Son and Macdonalds Limited, of 51 Biggar Street, Glasgow, was registered, with capital of £100, to carry on business as manufacturers and dealers in baking powders, etc.[1]

1975 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[2]
