1893 Established.

1897 The business was incorporated as S. H. Sharp and Sons (Leeds) Limited.[1]

1900 A new company, S. H. Sharp and Sons (1900) Limited was registered, with capital of £200,000, to take over the business of S. H. Sharp and Sons (Leeds) Limited of Grove Works and Park-lane Works in the city of Leeds, and at Kingersheim in Alsace.[2]
