1964 Pre-Star (Luton) Ltd was incorporated, engineers, founders, sheet metal workers, etc

1987 Sheet metal fabricators, particularly for the automotive industry; a subsidiary of Camford Engineering plc[1]

1989 Name changed to Pre-Star Ltd

Principal subsidiary was George W. King Ltd and its subsidiary Camford Automotive Systems Ltd[2]

1991 Camford acquired by German steel producer Hoesch[3]

1997 Became Krupp Camford Ltd
