Harold Soper (1880-1933)


1933/34 Obituary [1]

Harold Soper was born in 1880, and was educated at Aldenham. He was then articled to a Surveyor, passing the Associate and Fellowship Exams of the Surveyors' Institute, and practising in that profession for several years.

In 1904 he entered the garage of Godfrey Stevenson at Tunbridge Wells, and in 1908 he became one of the Principals of the business and was subsequently appointed Managing Director of G. Stevenson (Kent and Sussex Garage), Ltd.

He died on 25th October, 1933, at the age of 53.

He was elected an Associate Member of the Institution in 1923.
