1897 The company was registered on 24 May, to take over the business of leather merchants, boot factors etc, of the firm of the same name. [1] - presumably Lindrea's

1934 A merger with another Bristol leather firm, Herbert Ashman and Co, was announced, with a director from Ashman being invited to join the Lindrea board.[2]
