Thorncliffe and Chapeltown Iron and Coal Co
1857 Patent application by Edmund Edwards and Edward Beacher, of the Thorncliffe and Chapeltown Iron Works, near Sheffield, have given, the like notice in respect of the invention of "improvements in machinery or apparatus for washing or cleansing mineral and other substances."[1]
