1935 Company incorporated, by Cedric and Arthur Pochin as joiners, joinery manufacturers, timber merchants, etc.

1945 Pochin (Contractors) Ltd was incorporated, presumably as a subsidiary

1962 Pochin (Development) Ltd was incorporated, presumably as a subsidiary

1963 The Pochin company had in hand 14 substantial building contracts[1]

1965 Name changed to Pochin's Ltd. Listed on the Manchester Stock Exchange. The business included building, contracting, civil engineering, plant hire and boat building; the company had a factory at Middlewich.[2]

1976 The principal activities were building and civil engineering contracting

1982 Name changed to Pochin's PLC of Middlewich

By 1990 was engaged in construction work and also concrete pumping[3]
