1988 The company was involved in the rental of electronic equipment for security purposes; this activity was transferred to its immediate holding company Shorrock Ltd. The name of the business was changed to Shorrock Security Systems Ltd. The ultimate holding company was BET plc.[1]

By 1994 Shorrock Security Systems Ltd. was not trading.
