Rentaset Ltd

1930 Rentaset Ltd was at first concerned with radio relay, which business was started in 1930 by Mr. J. W. C. Robinson, who later became chairman of Radio Rentals.

1936 Constructional Wireless was renamed Rentaset Ltd

Rentaset and Radio Rentals both had their origins in the early days of radio when there was a ready market for radio rental and relay services.

1964 Name changed to Relay Exchanges Ltd

1964 Merger between two leading rental chains Radio Rentals and Rentaset. Mr J. W. C. Robinson, became chairman of Radio Rentals.

1968 Acquired by Thorn Electrical Industries
