At some point later, the name was changed to Newey Brothers (based on advert), the business of James Clement Newey and William Millars Newey

1886 Partnership dissolved. '... the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, William Millars Newey and James Clement Newey, at Brearley-street, Birmingham, in the county of Warwick, as Hook and Eye Manufacturers, under the style or firm of Newey Brothers, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent; all debts owing from or due to the late firm will be paid or received by the said James Clement Newey, who for the future will carry on the business on his own account...'[1]
