Alex. Robertson and Co (Electrical) Ltd, electrical contractors, of Glasgow

1956 "The firm of ALEX. ROBERTSON & COMPANY carrying on business as Engineers and Machine Tool Merchants, at 55 West Regent Street, Glasgow, C.2, has been dissolved at 31st December 1956 by the retiral therefrom of the subscriber, ALEXANDER ROBERTSON, one of the partners. The business will continue to be carried on by the subscriber ALEXANDER ROBERTSON GALLETLY, on his own account under the same name of Alex. Robertson & Company. Mr Alexander Robertson Galletly is authorised to uplift all the debts due to, and he will discharge the whole debtsand liabilities of, the firm"[1]

1965 Jointly acquired by Yarrow and Co and Troughton and Young[2]

1969 Troughton and Young was acquired by G. N. Haden and Sons[3]

1984 Alex. Robertson and Co, Public Works Contracting, Quarrying and Hire of Plant, of Edinburgh was in creditors voluntary winding up[4]
