1798 Established by George Rennie.

1935 J. C. Rennie and Co Limited was registered as a private company, with capital of £9,000, to acquire the business of woollen manufacturers at Milladen, Old Deer, Aberdeenshire, carried on under the firm name of J. C. Rennie and Co. The subscribers were James Rennie and Mrs Williamina Rennie.[1]
