This is an impressive former railway bridge crossing the Garonne in Bordeaux. Wrought iron truss girder construction.

Designed by Stanislas de Laroche-Tolay of the Ponts et Chaussées, with Paul Régnauld, of the compagnie des chemins de fer du Midi, constructed by Gustave Eiffel, head of the works department of the Compagnie générale de matériel de chemin de fer. Constructed 1858-60[1]
