John Arthur Jackson ( -1937)

1937 Died. 'JOHN ARTHUR JACKSON, of Whitehaven, and Broomlands, Lorton, near Cockermouth, late MP, and Deputy Lieutenant for Cumberland, chairman of the Whitehaven Brick and Tile Co, the Whitehaven Hematite Iron and Steel Co, and the Whitehaven United Gas Co, a member of the boards of the Alquife Mines and Railway Co, the North Lonsdale Iron and Steel Co, and the Ullcoats Mining Co. and a partner in the firm of J. and W. Jackson, timber merchants'[1]
