1826 Founded by James Allardes (referred to often as Allardice)

1927 The Glendronach Distillery Company Limited was registered as a private company, with capital of £20,000, to acquire the businesses of distillers, maltsters, and merchants, carried on at the Glendronach Distillery and elsewhere, under the style of the Glendronach Distillery Company.[1]

1960 The directors of Teacher (Distillers) Ltd announced the acquisition of the whole of the issued share capital of The Glendronach Distillery Co Ltd. The distillery had remained in the possession of one family since its foundation.[2]
