1964 'Among companies hoping to expand in the area, states Mr. Allen, are The Chocolate Cup Co. Ltd, who following their take over of the Coq d'Or Chocolate Co. Ltd. of Manchester, hope to concentrate the production of both their companies in the factory, previously occupied by Meccano Ltd., Hanson Road. Aintree.'[3]
