1904 E. D. Nicol and Company Limited was registered, with a capital of £4,000, to carry on the business of manufacturers of, agents for, and dealers in all kinds of sails, covers, flags, tents, tarpaulins, awnings, sunblinds, canvas, twines, bags, oakum, hessian, and bedding, warehousemen, ship chandlers, commission agents, and general merchants.[1]
