1907 New company. 'Richard Grist, Ltd., has just been registered with capital of £3,600 in 3,000 ordinary shares of £1 each and 600 deferred shares of £1 each, to carry the business of flock, mattress-wool and shoddy manufacturer, carried on by L. Grist and R. L. Grist, Lewiston Mills, Brimscombe, as “Richard Grist and W. C. Grist.” The subscribers are: L. Grist, Lewiston Mills, Brimscombe, Glos., manufacturer, one share; R. L. Grist, Lewiston Mills, one share. It is a private company. The number directors is not to be less than two nor more than five. The first are L. Grist and R. L. Grist.'[1]
