1914 The Century Drill Works Ltd was registered as a private company with a capital £3,000 in shares, to carry on at Sheffield or elsewhere the business of engineers, machinists, tool and drill makers.[1]

As some point the company became a subsidiary of Turton Brothers and Matthews
