Glove makers

1969 Dent, Allcroft and Co acquired a private glove maker Fownes Gloves[1]

1970 The combined company became Dent Fownes

Dents concentrated its business in Warminster, Wiltshire, the London and Worcester factories having closed.

1980 After several acquisitions, the group was renamed Dewhurst Dent Group
