1922 Colonel, late R.E., F.R.G.S., Associate I.E.E., Military Engineer, Rossmore, Fleet, Hants; b. 1855. Connected with military fortification surveying. Publications: " The Outlines of Military Geography " (Hugh Rees, 1911). Club: United Service. War Services.— Assistant Field Engineer, Khyber Field Force, 1879; Assistant Field Engineer, Rumpa Field Force, 1879-80; Assistant Field Engineer Suakin Field Force, 1885. Served in Great War 4 t years; France, 1915-16-17; C. R.E., 34th Division; mentioned in Dispatches, January I, 1917.
