James Henry Shaw ( -1932)

1932 Died. 'The death took place at his residence "Annamount", Kingstown, of Mr. James Henry Shaw M.I.E.E., staff engineer of the Free State State Department of Posts and Telegraphs. He was a native of Belfast and served as a telegraphist in the GPO Royal Avenue, some 35 years ago, becoming successively second class engineer, assistant engineer and finally being promoted staff engineer.'[1]
