MacVitties, Guest and Co, bakers, of Edinburgh

c.1874 Company incorporated[1], responsible for the bread and catering activities of McVitie and Price

1898 Company renamed; the partners were Robert McVitie and Edward Graham Guest, McVitie's brother-in-law.

1910 Robert McVitie died in Edinburgh; he left a considerable estate mainly of shares in McVitie and Price and MacVitties, Guest and Co[2]
