1890 Joined the board of A. and J. Stewart and Clydesdale

1891 Thomas C Stewart 27, iron merchant, lived in Largs with Jessie M Stewart 25, Infant 7 Days[1]

1901 Thomas C Stewart 37, iron and steel manufacturer, lived in Glasgow Park with Essie M Stewart 35, Cuthbert B Stewart 10, Ronald J Stewart 8, Edith H Stewart 4, Muriel J Stewart 6 months[2]
