Aqueous Works & Diamond Rock Boring Co., of Lambeth

of 17 Victoria St, Westminster, London (1897)

1879 “Aqueous Works and Diamond Rock-Boring Company (Limited). —Capital £300,000 in shares of £5. To acquire by purchase or otherwise the business, patent rights, inventions, and benefit of the contracts end agreements entered into by the Diamond Rock-Boring Company (Limited), and to carry out all such contracts and agreements, and to indemnify the said company against all liability in respect thereof. To acquire by purchase or otherwise all or any part of any interest in the patents and inventions of Messrs. Josiah L. Clark and J. Stansfield for shoring and supporting vessels on docks, cradles, &c.” [1]

1879 The Diamond Rock Boring Co was wound up; the Aqueous Works and Diamond Rock Boring Co was being formed and the business and property would be tranferred to it.[2]

1882 Company founded by Captain Sir Francis Bolton[3]

1923 The company was in voluntary liquidation[4]
