c.1906 Company started by Walter Thomas Knowles and later his three sons Vincent, Stanley and Gordon. Walter's father Thomas Knowles had a salt-glazed pipe business in Darwen.

1991 Director is Malcolm Knowles (c.1930- ). 50 employees.[1]
