General Steel
General Steel of Hayes, Middlesex.
- 1952 The Commander was a motorcycle produced in 1952 by them. Of dramatic design and style, this machine appeared at the Earls Court Show. Informatively styled but with pedestrian engineering, it had the engine hung from a spine frame and enclosed by a plated grill, and was fitted with a very run-of-the-mill Villiers engine of either 99cc or 122cc. Nothing further came of it.
