Mr John Hall, the secretary of the Sheepbridge Coal and Iron Co died suddenly at his home, Gladstone road, Chesterfield, on the 18th inst.

At an early age he entered the office of Oliver and Co, which had then a foundry in Knife-smith Gate, Chesterfield. From thence be went to the Sheepbridge Coal and Iron Company, . . . . . .was in his sixty-sixth year.
